We had about five hours to ourselves today and it was really nice. It has been months since we have had that much time to ourselves. I love the kids but would like to do this about once a month. We have trouble finding a babysitter within our family and friends. I hate to leave them with a stranger.
How often do you get "date" time?

LOL, maybe once a year if we are lucky! My mother is my only baby sitter, but she has been very ill this last year, so we haven't gotten to do that much. However we are always able to find time with each other any way. If it's talking for hours while the girls are playing with friends or just setting down and playing a game together. Last time we didn't have the kids, we fell a sleep on the couch watching a movie. We did have big plans, but having a quite house really got to us, lol.

My hubby and I rarely get date time. And it's okay with us, because our kids are only young for a short time. We love sepnding our weekend nights at home with the kids! The rare times we do go oyut alone, my mom or a friend of mine will watch our kids.

I haven't felt that my husband find time to go out with me or with the kids. He always told me that its better to keep the money than to spend it. But up to now i couldn't get his point of view. I felt insecure to those women who spent their time going out with their husband like watching movies, groceries, hang-out the two of them.. these things i never felt since we got married.. Instead of being devastated, I go out with myself or sometimes with my son. I left my husband alone. Its like that he was not happy going out with me..
Do you feel how I felt bad about this?

Up till now my husband and I haven't be able to go out/stay in without our 4 years old daughter nor we want to. I'm sure it will be nice to have some time alone, but still pretty hard for us especially she's our 1st child. It will drives us crazy leaving her behind. We take her everywhere we go. Maybe later, when's old enough (don't know what age....hehehe) but at the moment we just enjoy every single moment having her around before it comes the time when she start pushing us away....
