I don't download music because I feel that the artist isn't getting fair compensation that way. I am still old fashioned and buy my music on CD's.

Sharesa- you pay one fee for a lifetime and the can download all you want- We also use ITunes for the Ipods.-- We download alot of music- It's cheaper than going and buying cd's- especially if you only want 1 or 2 songs off the cd. I love the internet!

i use limewire and it's time to move on to other sites. i download a lot of old songs which i can't find in a music store anymore that is why i try to look it up in the net.limewire has been a friend for a while but it seems that there are a few people in there already, i can't seem to find the other songs in their site anymore.

I go through phases where I like to download music . I always use limewire but just recently had to take this off my computer as it was being bogged down with too much stuff on it . I will download it again sometime after I get my computer cleaned up a bit and don't have to worry about losing something because I have to much on it .
Limewire is the only site I download from , years ago I used to use KaAzA but then it became so full of viruses that it wasn't worth it anymore but I did prefer that one to limewire as I found it was good to download software that you were looking for as well .

I never heard of limwire or blubster..I use Imeem...what I'm trying to figure out is how to transfer my downloaded playlist from say Imeen and put it in my iTunes library....I have a Mac computer which automatically has iTunes...if you want to download music from them you pay 99 cents a song...or 1.99 for a video...so I was wondering, why pay if you can get it free...but still haven't figured out how to transfer...does limwire or blubster allow this??

I also use Limewire but find it very very temperamental, it takes ages to load and download and sometimes it crashes my system, I'm not sure if it's because I work on a Mac but I very rarely download music nowadays because I get too impatient and annoyed at Limewire's inadequacies, must find a Mac friendly download site.

I love music but have never downloaded it from the net except the church site. Could you recommend some free trustworthy places to download. I am afraid of getting a virus. I would not know how what to do if I got a virus. I only want free sites though
