Do you consider MyLot a JOB?

Okay so the definition of a job is: a regular activity performed in exchange for payment, especially as ones trade, occupation or profession.
I am a singe mom who takes online classes and was searching for a means of income, which led me here to MyLot. I am usually on MyLOt a minimum of three hours a day trying to post as much as I can, in the hopes that I reach the minimum payout soon enough! The way I look at it MyLot is a "job" and like any other "job" the harder you work and the more you are committed, increases your likelyhood of succeeding monetary wise. What do you think, can MyLot be considered a persons "job"?

Well, i think of myLot as a social place, nto a job, but the money im making is gong into somethign i really want so i consider it a bonus.

I'm not sure if I would call it a job for me since I have a full time job. I more call it a hobby or a second income. Although if I could do this as a job and pay me $9 and hour, that would be awesome

for me mylot is both job and problem solver... and ofcoz this site help me find frends that will really understand me.. frends hu r willing to help me evendo dey dont know me yet.. and ur one of them i thank this site for you frend hope you'll have a very happy lyf ^_^... godbless u mhuaaaaa

okay if you donate 3or more hours of your time to mylot for the expectations of earning enough money to consider this a job,you really need to consider something more to donate your time to. There is not near enough money to be made here to satisfy your needs for a single mom of a special needs child. This is not a job this is only a conversational site that pays you coins to participate..

I do not expect to get rich quick with MyLOt....lol, it is mearly a place where I can express my opinons, ask and give advice which is the main reason I am here. Now reguardless of how much they pay, the fact is they do pay us for the activities that we do here...Based on the deffinition MyLot is a "job" I think everyone is missing my "point", I know that the income isn't enough to suport my kids but when you are a single parent even coins would help you get through the next day...lol...Thanx for the reply

by definition of a job, i would say that i found a job in mylot. as a stay home buddy, i come around mylot regularly and spend most of the hours of the day joining in discussions, uploading pictures, making friends from all cultures and of course, gaining or earning points as a bonus activity. the minimum payout mylot gives to its members, in a little way, could help meet some of our personal needs. i was able to pay my internet bill this month courtesy of mylot's incentives.

Yes, it is a job. As you said earlier, the description of a job is the work done being paid for. Here in mylot, you have to work for it at the same time being paid. Having time spent in mylot is also a job well done and hard work considering the efforts you work on it and besides it's also enjoyable and knowledgeable.

Yes thats true i am also here for the money..But you know this can't be like a job since it pays very less..If you can spend three hours a day if you work hard maximum you can earn 1$ a day..Is that enough for you???Chk if there is any good paying sites and work on thta too..
MyLot is for fun with some recognition..thats all

basically I have tried other sits, but the fact is I only have time for one...which is MyLot! Although I it may seem impossible to make mare than a dollar a day here, it's okay for me as long as I am making something....lol...Of course it isn't exactly the best way to make a living, but my point is "it is a job!" reguardless of how much you earn....

I don't consider it a job- I consider it fun and the money is an extra bonus- A site that pays us for posting our opinions- Sure I can see why people would call it a job- You get paid for how much you do here- But I have 2 jobs- 1- mom 2- accountant.. this is fun for me- I wish you luck posting and making enough for the minimum payout- Be sure to post only quality discussions (this one is great) and responses and you should do fine- Good luck and happy posting!

I don't think myLot can be considered as a job. I come to myLot is just to have a fun while interacting with new people and making some extra money.

No. I do not consider mylot as a job.
I know that i do consider it a social place, where i meet interesting people from different cultures and where i participate in interesting discussions and that's it.
I know that when i just joined i did think that maybe if i get payed, i should consider and make mylot my job.
But then i realized that this is not a realistic thaught, and if i will consider it a job, i will lose alote of things like doing things here just because it interests me, and start racing and making responds just to earn more money here.

Well for someone like me who is a single parent of three children.... one of which is disabled.I am trying my best to do all I can in life, my first priority is going to school and although MyLot can't make me rich I am just glad be making some kind of money that will overall help me in the long run. I was employed as a Teacher-Aide for the Special Education Program a few years back, but the difficulty I have come to face with my son and his disorders, have led me to become a stay at home mom, thus that it where the online schooling and MYLot comes in.

Well if it's a job it doesn't seem to pay me very well. -lol You're better off trying to find a regular one.
I mostly consider it as a hobby and a venue to enhance my net experience. You know use it to find other useful moneymaking sites, find new contacts etc...

I have never really considered mylot to be a job. I am not even sure about what brought me here in the first place, but I basically come for the discussions and the little money I make doing them is just an added bonus. I can see how it could be considered a job from other's perspectives though, and you are right, the more you put into it, the more you will get back.

it can be a job if you want it to be. as for me its just a bit of fun im not pushing my self to get my payout. i come on when i can answer or post what i can and leave i dont spend hours on here nor do i intend to as my life is to busy but if you have the time why not.
