Can anyone tell me why C#.net is widely used than VB.Net ?

Hi Everyone, I have seen at many places that people say that C#.net is the better than VB.Net while both language should be powerfull in same way because they use same framework.Pls explain why C#.Net is widely used than VB.Net since VB.net is easy to learn ?

I would think it has something to do with being used to using C#.net and don't really want to take the time to learn VB.net.
