Stay at home or work?

i chose to stay at home with my 3 year old boy too... i'd get a job outside when he starts going to school.. right now i'm fortunate and so thankful to have a work at home job that allows me to work anytime that i want.

you are lucky to be able to do that I wasn't that lucky...two of my kids well...they could have needed me around more...the others are well adjusted.

All I ever wanted as a kid was to be a stay at home mom. And I am. But that has been more because of my husband's schedule. I would probably get a job if his schedule would let me because we could really use the money right now. But his schedule changes every month (sometimes he works days, sometimes nights, sometimes middle of the day) so it would be almost impossible for me to have a job without back up daycare available and we can't afford daycare so I stay home.

I do have a career.. which I am working on recerting. I was a single mom until I got married last year. We moved to a different state. I worked sooo much on the outside and also a job from home, before I got married. I decided to take it easy a little tiny bit, spend more time with my child. So I am taking some online courses and have a few to take outside to get state certified for this new state and working my stay at home job. I also do not know many people here and Hubby has an erratic work schedule. So when all that gets sorted, I will go back to work on the outside.

yes i stay home full time but i work from home too... being a mom is a hard job and daycare is expensive plus the daycares just want your money
