Did you clean your house today?

My personal policy is to clean daily. I go around seeing what needs to be done and just do it. But, sometimes, like today, I just wanted to take a break. So instead, I spent the afternoon taking a nap, while my husband watched our kid.
That just means more cleaning for me tomorrow.
How about you? Did you get your housecleaning done, today? Or, will you postpone till next week? Please share!

Yes, I am trying to set a good example for my daughter, too. And, she is learning by watching me. I used to clean compulsively, when she was younger. And, the first thing she did was try to help out. Now, I try to balance other parts of my life with the need for a clean house. But she does like to clean when I do. So, it's more fun. Thanks for posting.

I didn't get all of it clean but I got the bassinett that is sitting on my table cleaned out and stuff put away and I got my living room clean and my kitchen clean. Then my hubby decided that he was going to make sloppy joes from scratch and onion rings for dinner and so now it doesn't even look like I touched my house. Tomorrow when I get up the first thing that I have to do is to get some dishes done before I get my little one that I babysit around 6:15-6:30am and get my living room picked up before I go to bed. I also need to get the car cleaned out tomorrow so that I can get it packed for Friday when we leave town for the weekend. So tomorrow will be a busy day.

Yes I try to clean my house daily. Everyday when I get home from work we clean. Everyone in the house have there on seperate chores to do. I feel cleaning is very important it keeps viruses and unwanted animals out of your house.

I've been trying to figuure out how to balance household tasks, caring for the children, working and earning my degree better . . . and I feel like I'm failing miserably. There's always something that gets put off until tomorrow and certain cleaning tasks seem to top that list. Like, laundry, for example . . . I can get it all washed, but the pile that needs to be folded haunts me daily. I chip away at it little by little, but it seems to multiply quicker than I can fold. ::sighs:: That's what's on the agenda for today once homework and regular work is finished. Blah.

There are certain parts of the house and certain things that I make sure are clean every day, like the dishes. I do most of my other cleaning on the weekend, but I also make sure I pick up things all week long so I don't have way too much on Sat and Sun. Today I swept the dining room and cleaned the bathroom sinks.
