I made new article titles off of things I like to talk about. There were 8 in all, so far one has been accept, and 6 rejected!
5 of them were rejected because "Article Title was Undeveloped" or "Article Title Too Specific"
How can I fix this and ge my articles on helium?

I read this article and another on Associated Content (the other one was a suggested article very similar to this one). Thanks for providing the link. I found the article very helpful. It's a very good explanation of how search engines work and why sites like Associated Content and Helium care about things like that.

spend some time reading the best articles in helium. For the contest thing, you'll notice that the people who win are always the same, read their stuff, work on the things you feel their writing lacks and hopefully you do well!!!

To be honest, if the article title is rejected at helium, there will be some specific reason. Helium is a great place to learn of our mistakes. I wouls suggest you to e-mail at mentor@helium.com or help@helium.com and ask what is the real problem in specific. This way you can avoid making mistakes in future. I have been a writer there for a long time. In my experience, one of my article title was rejeceted. I gave another article title and submitted. Later I found that there was much traffic to that topic once it was accepted. Develop the tough skin to rejections, continue writing and you can seek peer mentoring at the discussion forum or at mylot.
