I would love to go more often, but the drive to town is a bit much some days. When we lived in a different state and in the town we made trips to the library (two different ones on a regular basis) at least twice a week. we miss that. now we go 1 to 2 times a month. but really ours here does not do very many activities or offer any interesting courses or anything like that. the one on the army base is fantastic but it is a 50 mile drive one way.
the one in our last town did all sorts of things from different childrens incentive groups to adult interest classes such as water painting.

We go to our local library at least once a week. I love to check out books to read for leisure, but I only do that about every two weeks. I am going to school for my Master's degree and my time to read for leisure is limited. But I also check out books on CD, since I commute to work, it is nice to have a story read to me while driving. It sure makes the drive feel shorter!

When i was kid i used to visit school library and read books there and borrow some story books, classics to read at home it was fun reading all interesting books. Later on i used to go to public library and borrowed some books on varied interests fictional and non fictional. These days i don't got to public library as it is not hear my house. And if i like a book i prefer to buy and read taking my own sweet time.

We have a library in our campus that I visit every day, I browse books but recently after they started this e-library I find myself spending more time on the computer than with actual books.

I've been visiting my library every two weeks or so... and more if I finish up all my books.

I do go and borrow some books from the library every now and again. A lot of times, I stop there because it's on my route home from the train station where I catch my train to commute everyday. I like to read for pleasure, so when I go there and get books, I will usually get only books. It's better to me than purchasing books, anyways. This happens probably a little less than monthly, maybe every 6 weeks.

My son and I go to the library at least once a week. Its one of our activities/outings we do each week. He loves the library and loves to choose his books which I read to him everynight. I also like picking up a few fiction novels to read as well.

I should really accept the fact that the habit of visiting the public library has recently reduced very much for me. As I can get almost all the information online within a few second, it really doesn't matter for me anymore to visit a public library to get the information needed for me.

I visit our school library thrice a month. We'd borrow some thesis proposals in our library and we'd return it after some months.. haha!

I'm sorry to be a crepe hanger, but you all be careful in the libraries! They were showing on TV how transients come in the libraries and steal people's handbags, etc. I very seldom go to our local library anymore. Hardly any need to with the 'Net now. I seem to be able to get all my info from here.

At times I have been a avid library fan, but now I don't live close to one and have a lot of books so I rarely go to the library. The last place I lived had an excellent library with DVDs and music CDs that you could check out, in addition to a great collection of books. I miss that library, but because I have so many books of my own, I seem to be coping pretty well. Also I just joined a book exchange (via mail), so now I have a whole stack of new (that is, used) books to read.
