When is having an opinion a crime??

As we all know Mylot is a place for discussion and opinions on many different topics and interests.But why all the hatred in some topics? No one should be attacked for voicing what they think! Not everyone is going to agree with everyone.I have only responded to a few topics since joining the site and i say what i think without forcing it upon people or expecting everyone to agree to what im saying. So have you ever been attacked on one of your opinions on the site? How does this make you feel?

Some people are just too small minded to understand different points of view. Don't waste your time getting angry with them though, just pitty them, because everyone else that sees it will do the same. If people can't respect other people's opinions then they really have no business speaking in a public forum.
