I lived in Hawaii all my life. I was brought up on the west side on the island of Oahu. I love the place which I call home and that is the city of Waianae. We all know that there are spoiled apples all over, messing up things for the rest and that is just like some of the people that lives in my city. The Waianae Coast is known for the beaches and the thieves. LOL I'm for real. Tourists are warned not to come to our side. Even I tell them to go back to Waikiki only because I know that there are rotten eggs on this side. Yep... Can't leave your valuables in the car. Park where there are alot of local people. Most of the people here are very loving and very caring, but still there are those that don't give a crap about other people. If you ever decide to visit our side of the island, please take all your valuables with you and always make sure you lock you doors. Do not ever leave your doors unlocked. And if you ever see local people, don't stare at them. Just look and smile and say hello. Have you ever experienced Hawaii? If yes, what was is like? if no, would you?

My best friend lives in Pearl City/Pearl Habor and from what I can remember, Hawaii is beautiful. She took me to a few beaches and sites and mostly to the malls. The Hawaiian people are so friendly and very much into their culture. I especially love the Hawaiian dancing.

Have you ever been on the Waianae Coast while you were down here? Yes, hawaiian people are friendly, but some people make us look like we are savage. I don't like the fact that some tourists actually look down on us. But I know that there are some that are not like that. I am thankful for those. And thanks for your response.

Well if you like the beach, our beaches are the most beautiful beaches. If you do plan to visit the Waianae Coast just remember to take all your valuables with you whenever you decide to leave the car.

I love Hawaii, I lived there back in the 80s for a few years, I live on the North Shore Laie, Hawaii, I loved it, it was so beautiful the people were the friendliest people I have met, we would go into Honolulu on the weekends for the swapmeet, I now live in Canada but will always love the Island of Hawaii.
