Take your baby for walks regulary and drink plenty of water and eat a balanced diet and you should be able to lose some of that excess weight slowly... Try exercising at home with your baby, you can do simple exercises with you baby with you to make it more enjoyable....

Another thing I have done is try not to park close when you are going to places like the store or to the mall. Try to make an effort to park a little further out. Every little bit counts. :) Good luck hun. I'm still trying to lose my baby weight :)

my advice would be if you can afford it and you you want one; get a dog :)
i found it quite difficult to loose weight after having my son, but when i got a dog, it dropped off me as fast as anything!
all the walking did me wonders, having a dog gave me the reason to get out and walk around (i always need a reason to do exersize lol, i can't just do it for no reason).
other than that try balancing your meals, though this is very difficult with having a new baby to look after as meal times vary and often you can't be bothered to prepare foods.

i have a dog her name is andrea and she's a pekingnese. i used to walk her before but after i gave birth my son's pediatrician told me that shes suspecting that my child might have some sort of allergy and its in our blood. after my son's doctor told me that, i was afraid to touch or be near my dog because shes so hairy.

I put on 72 lbs. when pregnant with my first child and 60 lbs. with my second . . . so I can relate to your desire to lose weight. I nursed both of my children, which forced me to continue eating very healthy food. I increased how much I was walking and pushing the stroller certainly helped. When my baby was old enough to have good head control, I used play time as "baby weight lifting" time. The baby's weight was used as the resistence and it really helped. In addition to all of this, I used an "ab roller" and "thigh master" at least a half hour each day.
