Do you have a friend who takes advantage of you?

Do you have a friend who, when you most need them, they don't return your calls or call to see how you are doing? but when they need something they are the first to call you? I don't know about you, but that irritates me to no end. How do you handle this situation? How about you?

Well... i know people who are like tat and for that very reason i don't take them in as ma friends..I call them big time losers and they get on my nerves most of the time, which is really bad for them :D Anyway life is fine as long as i hav friends who really care..So, who's gonna fret over those bozzos!!!! Have fun and enjoy life to the fullest!!!!! :)

I absolutely agree! Why waste your time on losers like that? This person I speak of always complains about how broke they are how awful their life is and if they could have done things differently, not chosen the person they were married to....truth is if this person weren't so physically and mentally lazy, life would be much different. During the course of this friendship, I have been down many hundreds of dollars, time out of my personal life and so on. So, I am going to live my life. I have many good friends who don't use me and I will concentrate on that instead. thanks for the comment!

That's the way u gotta live buddy!!!! Spend ur resources on those who care..Love them wit all ur life and don't give a damn to those who try to use u!!! They'll surely rot to misery!!!! Live ur life man cos that's all u'll have wit u forever!!! Everythin will be jus fine!!! :)

I used to have a Friend like that but not anymore, as I got fed up with it and I would not answer her calls and then I told her that the Friendship is only one sided and that is being Friends that was the end of that Friendship

Amen sister! I am glad you had the strength to end the friendship and move on to more positive friendships in life. It is not easy to have a friend like that and it is not easy to end a friendship to begin with. I hope I have the strength to do that myself.

well, I do...I have a friend who, as long as she is happy in her relationship, she will try to get off the phone, or be laughing in the back with her guy, if I call with guy trouble. But (knowing I have two kids, one being a baby) she will call at 11:30 pm, crying about something her guy did and I am just supposed to be available and listen even if she wants to talk all night.
ANnoying!
I just stopped calling her all together, I figured if she wanted to talk she'll call me...and if I have time to talk, great if not, oh well. =)

stacy that is the new attitude that I have adopted. I go through the same thing with this person as well. She wants to cry on my shoulder about every little thing that goes wrong in her life, bring me down in her misery but when things are going well in her life and she doesn't need money or anything else, she doesn't think that I exist, but that's ok, I am making different decisions in my life. Since she has been in my life I have had nothing but trouble and that is about to end. Thanks for the comment!

that is great to hear ellie. I know it is very nice to have friends who treat you with respect and are very loyal to you. I do have friends like that as well, but this one particular person is someone who wants to bring you down in their misery. Thanks for commenting!

Yes i have friends like that before. If i notice that they are liked that users as i may say, i don't talk to them anymore and will not consider them as friends.

I agree, I feel that way too. I don't like people who do that. I like to help my friends and be there for them in their time of need, but if they can't do the same for me, I have no use for them in my life. it is a negative impact on me and I have no room for negativity in my life! I currently have a so called friend who does this and I am ready to cut ties now. Thanks for your comment!
