cleansing your soul

Good Question .......by asking forgivness from our only Creator ALmighty GOD .....by preventing myself from bad deeds(sins) ..........by doing good deeds and finding my own mistakes ........ so it may give me more strenth to stand on the right path .....

Cleansing one's soul is allowing the word of God through the Holy Spirit to be like a mirror you look in each day.And as you look in the mirror of the word you allow the word of God to search your heart and bring conviction;and when you are convicted then you confess to God asking for forgiveness as Psalm 139 verses 1,23 and 24 says it all. It is not about going to mass or doing good deeds because going to mass or doing good deeds will not cleanse you as stated in Ephesians 2 verses 8 and 9.

I think the best way to cleanse our soul is not just going to the mass and doing good deeds... yeah, i know they're part of.. isn't. What I mean is, it is on how we please God in everything with us, from us and through us. It matters on the LOVE that is within us that we cleanse our sould by making people and God happy.

I define cleansing your soul by what charitable deeds you can do for others, even just to smile at someone can lift someones spirits, when you are doing things for others you are doing things also for yourself, and you feel so much better what a way to cleanse your soul.

As a Christian the verse that comes to my mind is 1 John 1:9 "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
