Do you believe in rapture? if yes, what will happen to the people in a vehicle where the driver is righteous and he has been raptured.
does it mean the vehicle will crash and the people inside will die? how will that day look like.
does it mean that all the sinners will be destroyed after the rapture.
i believe in rapture but i am confused about what will happen next.
some say after that event, the people remaining on earth will be judged, some says they will face the tribulation, others says they will thrown in hell fire.
but there is no where in the holy book where rapture is stipulated, does it mean we are being deceived. how do men receive their rewards? either good or bad, are we going to heaven or the garden of eden of old again? though there is a lot to know about this word - rapture and the second coming of christ. please tell me your opinion or what the word of God says about these.

about the rapture yes i believe in it and yes if the other occupants of the car are not saved they could either be hurt or even die ! and no all sinners will not die after the rapture they will continue to live through the tribulation period afcter the seven years of tribulation Jeusus will return and these folks will then be judged !It is possible some may be saved during the tribulation also many will be martyred for that belief !as for not being mentioned in scripture the actual word rapture is not said however the event is
matthew 24 : 40. Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left.
41. Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left.
42. "Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come.
43. But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into.
44. So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.

I believe in God, but not the rapture. The rapture is religious mythology, superstition, and magic all rolled up into one.
I believe in a creator of the universe (God) I believe there is power in prayer when it is done correctly. I do not believe in the rapture.

redyellowblackdog, thanks for your response. since you believe in God and the power in prayer, if there is other things you get to know about our creator, he will reveal to you including rapture.

Rapture is how some translators interpreted that word used in the original. It is like grabbing or snatching. On the last day, the Lord will be seen mid air and He will send His angels to gather in a wink of an eye the people for judgment - either to heaven or to hell, and this is the end of the world. Nobody knows when the last day comes and so the Lord tells us to be ready always. Let us study the Holy Bible very well and ascertain that we obey God to be with Him in heaven forever.

No. I don't believe in the Rapture, or numerous other things the Bible says..or in christianity mostly. Some good ideas..but I just can't believe in the rest of it.
Sure, like most things I give it the benefit of the doubt..but here's my thinkin'..
If the rapture was real, it would've happened already. Why do I say that? Well just read up on some of these subjects;
Verichip
rfid
smart cards
real id
the patriot acts, 1 and 2, the antiterrorism act..etc..
and whatever relating articles you can find, read all kinds of views on it, and see my conclusion.
If that doesn't doesn't stink of the Bible's Mark of the Beast theory, I don't know what does.
And according to the christians I've talked to websites I've read, etc..the rapture's supposed to happen BEFORE the mark of the beast. So..*shrugs*
The rapture IS spoken of in the Bible, but you gotta really look for it. I never was good at remember'n numbers, so I can't help there..somewheres in revelations, anywho.

xParanoiax, thanks for your response. whether you believe in rapture or the bible, the truth is that God is still God. He watches over us, created us, we also have to reciprocate the gesture by serving and worshipping Him. We have to lead a righteous life before man and God so that on the last day we will embrace Him in Glory.

watch the movie "A Distant Thunder", it shows what all is going to happen after the rapture, and it has the mark of the beast in it, and what it means, I think everybody should watch it.

When the Emperor comes to Rome in all his splendor majesty the citizens of Rome would come out and receive the Emperor and come back to the city with the Emperor... this was called Rapture of the Emperor. In the Bible when Jesus will come back as the King of kings and Lord of lords the people will receive in the air and come back to the transformed world. Paul was saying that rapture will be bit like what Daniel said in his book, and what Matthew said in his book and how the Emperor comes into the city.
There are different opinions on rapture. Reading at your post you seem to have mixed up all the views and so you are confused. Try to read one particular position and then go for the next view. This will help you better.
If you do not find literature on this issue, then I can share a bit of what I know about rapture.

There is one view which says like this. In future there will come one day when suddenly Jesus comes back and all those who believe in Him will be taken up to heaven. And they will be in heaven for the next seven years. And during these seven years the Antichrist will rule the earth. And these seven years will be divided into three and half years each. The first three and half years he will establish peace with Israel, and at the end of the three years he will perform sacrilege that will make the nation Israel realise that this person is not the one who will give them peace. And that is when Israel as a nation will repent. The next three and half years the evil one will really unleash the great suffering upon the people of the earth. And at the end of second phase of three and half years i.e. seventh years, Jesus will come back with those who were taken up before the beginning of tribution, and then fight and defeat the Antichrist. He will then rule for one thousand years on this earth with those who came back from the sky with Him. At the end of one thousand year on earth, Satan will be released once again and Jesus will defeat him and throw him into the lake of fire so that he will never ever deceive the nation again.
This view is called Pre-tributional Premillennialism. It is called pre-tribulational because Rapture occurs before the tribulation. And Premillenialism because second coming of Christ occurs before one thousand year reign of Christ.
Another view is mid-tribulation which says Rapture will occur in the middle of the Tribulation. Post tribulation says Rapture will occur at the end of tribulation and also the second coming of Jesus Christ i.e at the end of seven years. The event after the second coming is the same for all these three views.
There is also Postmillenialism and Amillenialism. I shall explain them later.

I do believe in the rapture, that god will come and take all his people, who are saved and the babies, the innocent and take them away to hide because the world will be taken over by the devil and the whole market and the hospital will need for you to have the mark of the beast if you want to buy or sell or get treatment from the hospital. I don't feel like I know everything about it, I read a book that referred to the bible and it told me a whole bunch of stuff that just scared me. I think that after the rapture the sinners are on earth for a while with the mark of the beast and they torment everyone else who doesnt have the mark.Eventually the sinners go to "the pit." And everyone else who was saved goes to heaven with god.

Yes I believe in the Rapture. I know Jesus is coming again soon, but only the believers will hear the trumpet blow.
