Hi, I do freelance web programming for PHP and websites. Right now I'm into Blogging technologies like RSS, XML, AJAX and everything related to blog software. If you ask me it's really tough landing a deal with a client nowadays :(

Absolute right joemiggs! Even a year ago client can fooled or can be brain washed easily. But now-a-days clientS are getting smarter. They seems to know everything. Seems like doom days are coming for s/w professionals! :D

Dozen is nothing! Dozens may be :D Sometime I wonder looking at the bid that whether the bidder really known what the job is!! Even bid of as low as $5 can be found! I wonder how will he do with that amount :(

Not only that, the market is so crowded it's become too competitive. You've got dozens or more developers bidding on a project by lowering your own fee, which to me is like lowering your own self-esteem just so you could bag the contract... talk about being desperate /:(

I can do freelance jobs and currently work with JAVA, PHP, XML and Javascript (AJAX included). In the near future will also work with the new Holy Grail language of web programming: Ruby on Rails :D
