Eating right is not about eating one kind of food unless that food is a super food that has every human nutritional requirement is satisfied with a serving. There is nothing that I know of that satifies such a requirement.
If I am forced under Bush-like policies to only eat only one kind of thing for the rest of my life, I will be healthier making a vegetarian choice, but I will also become a traitor of the United States and seek out more resources necessary for my survival.
So, come on, Secret Service Bush Cronies -- force Hostess Twinkies down my throat ...

Sorry about that -- this proves I really shouldn't drink when I'm actively responding to posts ::blush:: This month's Harper's magazine article must have really gotten to me.
Soup will be my answer, those that have lots of vegetables and a little meat, perhaps a little more pasta or rice. The longer, slower temperature cooking the better. But not so much that the pasta is limp and wimpy.

Cincinnati style chili spaghetti! Also called a 3-way in some areas.. The chili has all kinds of weird seasonings, and the meat is fine fine fine.. No chunks.. Add a 1/2 oz of sharp cheddar cheese to the top, and it's perfection! now if there were only some way to make this calorie free, I believe I would eat it every day!

I would eat instant noodles for the rest of my life even though I know perfectly well it's not healthy. I love eating instant noodles since I was a kid. I would add a few other things to the noodles to make it tastes different each time. My favourite would be adding chicken and veggies in it so as to make the soup taste much sweeter. I don't think I would be bored eating instant noodles all my life and I think I actually would love it *laughs*. And with my little tricks of adding some other ingredients in it, then it would taste different every time!

My choice would have to be pizza! I can eat pizza anytime anyday. I don't think i will ever get tired of eating it. Seeming how i would have to eat it for the rest of my life i'd be happy knowing that at least i'm getting most of the food groups in. The crust,(grains?) the sauce (tomato-veggies), cheese (dairy) and i guess i could throw on some sausage. :-)
I would be about 500 pounds in the end but i'd sure be happy :-)
