Not getting full pay?

I make a point of responding to at least 50 discussions every day, and then going on to write my own discussions. But I never get paid for all of them. 36 cents, 27 cents, and so on. Never the full amount. Yesterday I uploaded several pictures, but none of them were paid for today. Is anyone else having this problem?

Okay, I am going to try and clearify this matter to the best of my knowledge. First every 24 hours our earnings are updated. When they updated them you receive an earning that covers everything that you did in the previous day. The only time that I know that you won't see earnings for something you have done is if you did some responses right before they updated the earnings. I fully believe there is a cut off point to give mylot time to go through the posts and update the earnings. I have yet to figure out what the cut off time is. I imagine it is a couple of hours before the earnings are updated but I am unsure on this. There is no set amount that we are given per post. It is based on the quality and lenght of our posts. If any of your posts were one line or one word posts than more than likely you didn't get much at all for them. It does not make any difference on how many posts you do, just what quality they are. I have also heard from fellow mylotters that mylot deletes one word responses. I am not positive on this fact because I have never posted any one word responses. Also, the only way you earn for starting discussions is by having people respond to them. If you start a discussion and no one responds than you won't earn anything for it. I think Mylot's soul purpose is for us to communicate back and forth through the discussions. So if you have any discussions that have no responses than there is no communications going on so you don't get earnings. Not sure if that made sense, hope it did. If you were referred I am not sure of what the person said to you about mylot. But I can tell you this. Mylot is not a place to make a lot of money real quick. It takes a lot of time and patience. For example, just the other day I responded to about 20 discussions and only started one discussion of my own. I made sure that they were all quality discussions of at least 10 sentences. My earnings for that day was .73 cents. To me not a bad days work and I am happy with those earnings. I really wish you the best of luck! Happy mylotting!

Although I don't upload pictures lately I know that I only average .01/post. I have been told that your star rating is part of the equation for payment and since I had my rating plummet once I crossed the 100 post mark (I have no idea of the why of this) I find that I'm lucky to get paid for each post. It is important as noted previously to be sure to be more than just a line or two and I am always careful about that. I try to be sure to add to the discussion with my comment but this doesn't appear to have any effect on the payment. I agree it would be wonderful to know how much each individual post was paid so that we could improve the quality of posts based on previous payment but it doesn't appear that that is likely to happen. I wish you the best of luck in improving your payment.

What's full pay? We aren't paid a certain amount per post or discussion but based on the quality/quantity of the posts. Had the earnings been updated at the time you checked on the pictures?

I still haven't figured out what the average amount is per response. It seems sometimes I respond to just a few discussions earn the same as the days I sit here responding to dozens & dozens. I tend to ramble, so I don't think the length makes a huge difference; as long as it's not 1 or 2 sentences.

I had the problem with the pictures a few weeks ago. I uploaded 5 or 6 pictures and only got paid for one of them. I don't know what the deal is.

I always meet the same question as you.Yesterday I posted about 8 responses, but today I find I only get 0.02 dollar.I think if MyLot can list which response has been paid and how much it was paid in the "earnings",we can know clearly and help us constantly improve on the quality of our responses.

I agree with what the other posters said. I am not sure about the star rating, I was under the impression it didn't figure into the pay. This is the first time I have heard from someone who experienced this. The only thing I have to add is, if you post a comment within someone else's response, you don't get paid for that. It's only for making your own comment in its own box, and for starting discussions that get responses, plus referrals. Good luck, don't forget to have fun!
