Why do people"cheat" on my lot?

Why do people copy and paste things for responses...When they have no reasoning in the discussion at all...I don't understand it, and make sure that I report these people, and also give them a negative rating, as I do not wnat them getting credit, for being an as s...So why do people do that, and do you report them, gvie them negative ratings as well??? Just wondering!!!

i agree with you ! it would really suck if they get money for doing nothing.
while the rest of us are here typing away with real honest answer and questions.
Would that be the same guy that says he is handsome and looking for a girl or something??

I know what you mean. I was trying to figure out how peope make money so fast. I am on here all day because I take time in my responses. I don't just answer randomnly or with simple answers. Heh, whatever works for them I guess. :/

Yeah, I watch how long my responses are, because that helps-and I just open up about 10 windows at a time to respond, don't make a lot, but at least I try. I post discussions and try to respond to my responses, and rate responses that type of thing, cause that helps!

what do you mean copy paste?from where?me for example,at some questions,i copy pasted a nice quote that i really liked and had in a folder of mine full of quotes...does that count?i hope i didnt get a negative rate for that also:P

what did u get deleted with?i heard that problem from several people but i have discussions 2 weeks old and didn't get deleted..i also don't know where to find them..if you tell me i might slip in another nice quote:P

What do you mean what do I mean? You know the function of copy/paste right??? You copy a statement, then paste it.
There was one guy that kept pasting the same repsonse ALLLLLL over the place. It looked exactly the same.
Megs85---were you telling me that I did some beautiful quotes on your last discussion? I don't think I did, btu I want to make sure----

I had a guy who posted-"looking for pretty woman i am handsome"....all over one of my forums-i got mad and wrote him a personal e-mail telling to bug off-but didn't say it so nicely

I would defintly report them but make sure they are doing it. If two people wrote.
"Yes I love sweaters they keep you so warm in the winter and they are stylish"
it is pretty obvious they must have coopied.. but if two people wrote
"I like sweaters"
It is hard to say wether they coppied or not I mean my answers may sometimes be simular to others because I do not always read everyones responses.. However if they are word for word I understand. I have had that happen and it annoyed me.
Sorry about the sweaters comments I was watching a sweater fashion show on tv when I worte that.

wow lol u know i never even thought about the neg and pos buttons on the side.. dangit next time I see a cheater on here ill give em a neg.. does that mean that u get less marking on mylot?

Rating is good, from what I hear and have read at least. LOL, especially on your own discussions. If ya hit the exclamation point-it reports them, u have to give a brief explanation as to why-but still its not htat hard to say, this person is continually posting the same thing over and over again. I don't know if my lot cares-but hopefully they do!

I've seen it, it bothers me too. I haven't reported anyone but I have given out a few negative ratings. People are just lazy and only here for one thing, and in that they are messing it up for us.

I am not sure how payment goes on mylots... I just started posting. However I try to answer each question correctly so that it at least makes sense to the topic. I am wondering if maybe cut, copy and paste because its quicker than reading the responses. I am not sure if you get paid for each addition or not. It could also be like someone else stated that this person is using the website for a dating service. It's to bad though because the information posted could be useful to someone if what is being posted corresponds with the discussion.

I dont know y....maybe they r out of reponse...n want to earn more...lol..but i strongly agree tht cheating is bad...wud tke it to no where...
