Encoder Motor failure

I have a 1994 GMC Jimmy 4x4, I have the 2 position switch on the dash. Last winter the switch would not change it into 4 wheel drive. After changing tones of parts I still could not get it to work. So I decided to remove the encoder motor and make my own shift handle. Works great. And only cost me less than ten bucks.
