Friends on Mylot

How long have you been making this observation? Perhaps there is still group of users who have been regularly active and you happen to keep noticing them for whatever reason. In a way, this is good since at least you know there are people who are regularly active. But if you do not see any others, it means that only a handful of users is active.. which doesn't spell that great. :P

I noticed that too and thought it was pretty cool = ) You are one of my (very few active) referrals and a friend too... now, when someone uses your referral link they are automatically added to your friend list. I think I requested you though ; ) I'm so happy you joined, especially under me! If I haven't said it yet, THANKS!

It does seem like we all have the same friends but there is certainly nothing wrong with that. It is great being able to make friends all around the world on here and hearing everyone's views about all the different topics brought up. It certainly would be nice to have a reunion of some kind and be able to meet people in person. I think it would be hard though because of people living in various countries for everyone to meet.

Well people with similar interests will gravitate together...for example, I'll bet most of your friends love Maxine..I know I do, she is a personal hero....so I had to be your friend.

Sure. I mentioned it awhile back after I noticed that most of those who are important to me here are all members of the same circle of friends. When I noticed that I felt very proud because I don't ever recall being accepted for who I am by so many. (especially inside a community) When I've posted in other community's normally it takes ages to even get people with higher posts to acknowledge I was even there. Actually I've quit many people I was treated as an outside or that my views didn't count because to be accepted you need two things 1 a "gimmick" and 2 a post count over 5000. (least this is what I've noticed) Mylots the first community where I have posted over my record which was just over 3000 posts. I don't see post counts as being important if I like someone I try to get to know them and this is one thing I really like about mylot. The fact people care and not pay attention to small and tiny detail such as above. Sorry about my speech lol ~Joey

Hello,polly,it does not matter whether we have the same group of friends or not,what is important is we can make friends from different countries here,i treasure the friendships here no matter i have reply to my friends or not.But i will know who is on my friend list and who is posting and replying. Although i have not met anyone,i still enjoy in the discussions with my friends. have a good day.

I've noticed that too Polly1! I think it's great too. I think that's great that so many of us are somewhat on the same wavelength. That's great that you got to talk to somebody in person and strike up a friendship! (The flower seeds are a definite bonus, lol!!) I am Happy I have found you as a friend, I have never mind friends over the internet untill now. I think it is fun Meeting people all over the world, and it is a coincidence that you are close to my town. 2 hrs, away One day we will meet, we talk on the phone, chat on Mylot, we even started around the same time. You started when I did, I remember you were telling me you could not sleep much at night you remember that? and how about the Laptop? I would love to buy one one day. everytime I go outside, those moon flowers remind me of you. they have grown so big. I put miracle grow on them, and you should see how they have grow, so big and pretty, and How about those Marigolds? I know they are doing good. Do you know I gave some of those seeds to My Sister, actually, I started the plants and then gave them to her, and the lady down the street, My Landlord. I have even took some seeds from the ones that blum, I notice when they blum they die right away, but there are plenty more of them that blum. Ok, Vicky I am going to bed for real now! Good night.

Yes Vicky I think I answered this before, but you are right we do see the same people commenting, I think it is great too, but when you don't see them for a long time youget to missing your friends, don't you agree? Like the guy who name himself after his dog, you knowwho I am talking about, we both use to tease him. tell his name, I forgot it is right on the tip of my tongue.

I have noticed that the same peopl seem to also always be on the same discussions all the time too. Some of the older ( I mean long timer) are not here as muchas they used to be. The hot topics and the recent topics are pretty much the same people.

Since your discussion about mosaic picture and my discussion about old man and the casino we never meet one another hitherto. So I’m very happy here to say a few words concerning about your topic of discussion. It’s normal to have a limited group of friends here at mylot to have more frequent contact and interaction. If the group were extremely big we won’t able to find time to server them at all. How about your casino adventure? Wishing you good luck.

Yes, I have noticed that too. Seems that no matter where we are, we seem to attract friends with common interests like ours. The same is true of the group on gather. We are all connected to the same group of people.

Hi polly,yes i have noticed that,thats kinda weird huh? but in a nice way.Just about everytime i reply to a post several of my other friends are there too,makes it kind of nice.We try so hard to be friends with everybody but it just seems we all fall togeather in little groups and yes like you ,I LIKE IT....I have to admit it would be nice to have a Mylot reunion come to think of it...I have gotten to know my friends quite well,and to be truthful,i really like my group of friends...I have also exchanged e-mails with some of my friends too,I did not know that some others have,thats cool..That is real nice exchanging flower seeds,and we do have a few people on this friends list that like flowers,i know i do,and i just love working in my yard,i can spend the day sometime unless it gets too hot of course.This was a very nice post,thank you...

yeah i'm happy too that we have all met here at this place. i have nobody here in mylot from Pakistan and i wish ther are more people joining mylot from Pakistan.

well i have also noticed that and i feel its all for the benefit of everybody if we act as friends and tend to understand each other cause we have different views about life

Yes, I have noticed that my friends tend to show up on the same discussions as I do! I think this is a good thing. It indicates to me that we are all searching for meaningful discussions and if I stick with my friends, I should lose money/points due to discussions being deleted onto which I had replied! It also represents to me that we are seeing the same wonderful qualities in the people whom we are befriending!

I have noticed that in my posting. That all of us have pretty much the same friends. I think that is a good thing. Who would have thought a year ago, that I would have friends from Australia or China or India or more from the United States? I love MyLot!

I did not know that the membership was that large. Interesting.

I think there's new people joining every day and new friends to always add to our lists. I always check to see discussions my friends started so maybe I'm not the only one? And that's why we seem to post to the same mylotter's posts? Depending on how much time we and our internet speed it could take an awful long time to get through them all and add something to someone new's discussion. Don't you agree?
