Did you watch the final episode of The Sopranos?

I honestly thought something happen to my TV. The way it just went to black. I was a little upset (probably because I thought I was missing something). But after I thought about it, I think it was great. The way they were leading you into thinking something big was going to happen at the end. At one point I was thinking the whole family was going to get shot in that reastaurant. The one guy that walks in with the ball cap. I was suspicious of him first. Then there was a guy who walked in front of AJ with the coat on. This guy kept turning around. Then he got up and went to the restroom. The whole time "Don't Stop Believing" by Journey was playing. I was really thinking the whole family was going to get shot in that restaurant. Then my TV went to black. Wow! I thought it was a good ending.

I started a discussion on this also,comment mine as well please. I liked it but I too thought they were about to die,I mean that guy at the bar was shady at best. I think they will do a movie or a spin-off.

ya.. the last episode was terrible.. however i heard the reason it was done like that because they plan to start the movie where the season ended.. it really sucked tho.. i was disapointed!

No I did not watch it as I am in Australia and the final series is not even here yet, let alone the final episode BUT this morning I got up early at around 5am and ironically the morning show from America is on at that time on TV. I could NOT believe it when they showed the ending and srated discussing what happened in the final episode - what a spoiler (for me, anyway).

I felt so empty after watching it. I did not care for the ending. I did not like then open-ended ending. From what I have heard there are no plans for a movie to follow up the series. However, as we all know, things change and it just may happen one day. I have mixed thoughts about them coming out with a movie. It just would not be quite the same.
