Is America Ready for A Woman President?

Hillary Clinton is leading the polls, at least for the democrats, and so far, she is the most popular presidentiable in the line-up. If ever she wins the nomination, and gets to run for the presidency next year, is America ready for a female president?
The U.S. Congress did have its first female speaker of the house. It already has its first female supreme court justice although it is yet to have its first female chief justice.
Is 2008 going to be a year of the women?

It is too late still can be done,how about Miss Rice she is black too(they should be given one chance.
