I am working on a new quilt top and I need to stay motivated to work on it every day.The best way for me to so that is to be accountable. I decided to use a blog , and invite people to comment on it . I would connect this blog to MyLot, but unfortunately the blog has to be 4 months old in order to be considered by MyLot.
The URL to my blog spot is http://quiltprogress.blogspot.com . I hope of of you that enjoy quilting and seeing pictures of quilts will view my blog . I do not get paid for doing this blog , but your comments would be such an encouragement to me .

I am a big guy who would look hilarious with a tiny needle lol. :P
But I've just popped over to your blog and well, it is quite neat and organized. Strawberry-flavored (lol) and all...
I notice you label your entries day 1, 2 and 3. So you are definitely going to really discipline yourself and blog everyday? Otherwise, having a break might not be too pretty. :P
I have a suggestion but you may throw it out since you are the pro here - that you choose bolder and more striking colors for your quilts. As it is, they are more on the subdued side. Or maybe this is just a matter of tastes hehe, that I happen to like bolder colors.
Oh well. ^^

I did not think I was using subdued colours. Some blocks are light and are some are dark , You will have to go back and see my progress, maybe once I get more blocks sewn together it will look different to you .
Then again every one has different tastes and that is fine too.

Hi, I love the fact that a guy who loves bold colours took the time to go check out a blog on quilting. That is really great. It must be that real men like their quilts. I love the quilt and plan to keep watching it become a full blown quilt. Oh and I thought the colours were already bold so I must be a pastel person. LOL

I don't sew so I will be very excited to see the process of your quilt. I have left you two messages their so far on seperate posts. It looks like a huge undertaking but I am sure you can get the job done. I understand your wanting the accountability though. It is so easy to put things aside and either they never get done or it takes way way longer. Wish you the best.

Wow amazing how it looks in a few short days. I went to the blog to leave a message. I am not sure how I signed in so easily before as I can not tonight. I will have to try again tomorrow. How exciting that someone like me can watch a quilt be made like this from beginning to end. Fabulous! I feel so excited to see it finished. LOL YOU would think it was my own!
