I thought it ended fairly well. Tony is still the king, the family is a successful unit. I loved the guy going to the bathroom, it had me wondering whether or not one or all were about to get capped.
I wish I could remember the first episode, I'm wondering if they didn't eat in that place before, or if it wasn't a throw-back to the beginning.

Check Net Flix, they may have the first season that you can rent.

That is what I was thinking. David Chase left it open so he could write a movie in the future.

It ended exactly how I figured it would, especially in the face of hype...fit perfectly and it was indeed time to end the series.

I wasn't happy with the ending. I don't like the open-endedness of it. Sure it leaves it open for a movie and such but it just felt empty. I did not think this last episode was as good as it could have been for a series finale. But this is of course just my opinion.

If you don't like open endings , you don't like open endings.Question. Would you see a movie of The Sopranos if the film tied all the loose ends together? I would.

It's not to say I don't open-endings in general. Often time I think they are great. However I guess I just expected more from the Sopranos. Especially as a season finale. However, it's how the producer wanted it and it meant something for him to end it that way. I can accept that but I still feel empty after seeing it. I have mixed feelings about whether or not I'd want to see the movied if they ever came out with one. Most likely I guess I probably would because I'd be really curious. What would make me skeptical of it is that the show itself is an hour normally. The movie may be maybe 2 hours if they decide to make it that long. I don't know where they would "run" with the movie. So in the end, yes I'd more likely than not go see it.
