My niece did a survey on Myspace bragging about all of the things that she gets in trouble for in school. I want to believe that she is exaggerating, but my sister is constantly talking about how the school keeps threatening to expel her. This is what happens to children when there is no one there to care enough. Her mother works all the time and the father lays up at home and watches television and allows them to do whatever they want to. I use to live with them, so I know that this is true. One day, I was helping clean up the house and I asked my nephew to put something of his brothers away and his father told him that if I ever said something that he did not like, that he has permission to get smart with me. This is the kind of crap that he teaches them. I have already called social services once and it did a little good, but not enough. Here is the survey that she did. This niece is only twelve years old. She has been a smart mouth since at least four years old, when I first moved in with them.
