I would like to know what the hezbollah believes in and what they are fighting for. If you have insight on the side of Isreal I would be interested in that as well.

Hezbollah is a Shia Muslim organization which came into being when the Israel unjustifyingly invaded lebanon and the pushed it into civil war. After the war it came to the forefront as a social welfare organisation. Now if fighting for their country is terroism and if killing US soldiers in beriut who were openly supporting Israel is terrorism then you can call them terrorists.

The Hezbollah (meaning “party of God”) is a Shia Islamist organization in Lebanon made up of a militia, a political party, and an extensive program of social development. They formed in 1982 to fight the incipient occupation by Israel. They wanted to bring Islamic Revolution to Lebanon, now they fight more for democratic change. there is still debate as to whether or not they should be considered a terrorist organization. to put it bluntly, they support the destruction of the state of Israel. hope thats helpful to you.
