A few hours ago I was driving back from a site visit and took a shortcut back to the office. While driving i saw in front of me, cars and truck swerving to the right and when i go to the same spot i saw a kitten in the middle of the road.
I pull over, ran over to the kitten waving like an idiot to slow down the incoming vehicles. i grab the cat, places it at the back of my truck and took it home. i hope my boss won't wonder where i've gone for the day.
the question is, WHAT AM I GOING TO TELL MY WIFE? Her chihuahua seems ok with the kitten. I have placed it in a box, gave it milk and now its asleep.
the kitten has big feet, reminds me of a german shepherd. i kinda like that kitten. its strange looking with those big paws.

Im sure that she is not that cold hearted, when you tell her that you saved a life and that you want to keep it. I commend you for doing what you did and Im sure the kitten will thank you by giving you many years of unconditional love. Im sure that she wont say take it back to where you got it from.

we never had a kitten/cat before so that kinda worries me. we both are "dog" people all our lives. the wifey came back and walla..she says is we should keep is becaseu is the most ugly, pathetic, scrawny kitten she has ever seen. actually she is right, the poor thing borderlines ugly and monstrosity. dang it! its so cute!

Hi! First of all I have to congratulate you for saving that kitten's life. About your wife, I think she will understand if you'll tell her exactly what happened. It would only be a problem if the chihuahua and the kitten didn't get along, which didn't happen. So, I can only wish you the best of luck with your new pet. :)

I commend you for saving that poor kitten's life. I'm sure he was scared stiff and didn't know what to do. Luckily e1 was swerving around him till his savior came along. From what I've read, sounds like he's already won over your dog's, wife's, and your affection. From your description, sounds like he might be a Maine C00n or a cross between a Maine C00n and something else. Would love to see a pic of him. -ugh!! mylot and their violations-
