My mom always told me to save money. But she always told me to not to save money when it comes to food. I have lived with this principle ever since. I do have money and the best way to spend it is thru foods. If ever I am hungry I have to eat. I don't want to starve myself.

With a family of 6, I spend way more money on food. We rarely have extra money to buy things like clothing, shoes ect. I buy the kids new clothing for school, then again at Christmas. Then throughout the year as needed I will pick up socks, shoes ect. But for the most part, food is a huge portion of our budget.

Yes me too I consider my self a good spender coz I spent to much buying food than things. I buy healthy food rather than spending it to things that will suffer my family's meal. I make sure I cooked food just to satsfy their meals everytime they eat.

That is really true, you should spend more on Food than anything else. Food is one of the basic needs and for us to be strong we need food. So I guess it is pretty obvious that it should be the first priority in your budgets before anything else.
