Has your fashion changed as you got older?

Okay, everyone had "fads" when they were younger. I dressed alternative, goth, and a bunch of other ways. Now, I wear jeans and black t-shirts. I was wondering if anyone else has changed their fashion as they grew older. What did you wear? What do you wear now? What, if anything, influenced you to change?

Absolutely. I have never had one look, but I think that I went through the phases much like most of us do through growing up.
I went through everything. I grew up in the late 80's when parachute pants were cool, then the early 90's when Criss Cross colors was the way to go. I went through my throwback jersey phase, my rock band T-shirt phase, and then my tall tee phase. Right now, I wear normal clothes on a regular basis, but maybe with a cross of all of those other styles. I like loud colors still, I have a ton of jerseys I can still rock, I have shirts for some of my favorite bands, all with clean looking styles though.
I think back then, growing up, my environment and my peers shifted my style. Now, it's just whatever I see that I think looks good or that I like.

Oh, yeah, my fashion sense has changed Big-Time!
Picture this: skin-tight pink overdyed jeans, with black, spikey ankle boots, chains around my hips, my Cinderella (the band, not the fairytale, lol) concert T-shirt...just as an example.
Now, if I'm not attending offline meetings and conferences, it's jeans or jammies, lol. If I must attend offline meetings and conferences, it's definitely professional wear.

If going from fashionable to convenience can be called a change, mine definitely has. I used to wear skirts, dresses and all kinds of fancy stuff that came into fashion now and then, through out college, while working and even after i got married. My baby has kind of changed it all, these days, all i wear is Jeans and t shirts or shirts, it just happens to be more convenient while going out with a small baby and yes hassle free too.

My fashion has changed. I have kept primaryily with the alternative/punk/goth look.. But I have tried a few times to dress 'preppy' I guess. ..Now I dont really care. I wear jeans and T-shirts now. Although lots of my stuff is still black lol.

My fashion changed when I stopped working fulltime. It went from business attire, dress skirts, pants, shirts, tops, jackets, heels, etc to jeans, shorts, track suit pants, tshirts, tops, slacks and run around clothes for home. I am now a stay at home mom. Now that I spend most of my time running around after my four year old, jeans, tshirt, or shorts and top are much more comfortable to wear than heels and dress clothes.

Luckily I never had any fashion sense other than if it fits then buy it lol. Now a days since I am a stay at home mom and the my 1 and 2 and 1 yr old that I watch don't care what I wear I just wear whatever is clean and fits on that certain day. I am 5 months pregnant and haven't been able to buy new clothes except for 2 pair of pants so my outfits look kind of weird some days depending on what I can stand to have touching my stomach. After I am done with the pregnancy I plan on getting new clothes so that I can at least look half way decent lol.

when I was younger, I used to be a shirt and jeans girl. I wasn't much into fashion. Right now, I try to make an effort to look good, dress accordingly and stay away from big shirts. Even when I'm just wearing the basics, I make sure that it's not like I woke up, got out of bed and decided I want to go out, in my sleep clothes! LOL.
I still love the basics, like bermuda shorts, basic plain fitted tee and decorated flip-flops.
