I often wonder if there is some way no matter how big or small to see a depressive episode coming. Are there pre-cursors to it, have you had the same or similar things happen to spark your depression? When I think back personally, it was kind of the same or like situations that may have started the process of me feeling depressed. How about you, and how do you deal with it?

I try to listen to music or take walks, but I usually know I'm depressed when I just have no interest in the things that I love to do. If I feel like nothing matters then I know I'm depressed. I try to do things to keep my mind refreshed and it works. There are times when I just want to stay in bed all day, but it won't get me anywhere. A positive mind is what will lessen depression. Depression won't go away but it won't develope as often once you start to think more positive. With that anything is possible. You have to make yourself believe that things will get better in time, and they do.

thanks for the insight. I guess with me I don't realize I am depressed until I have been in it for a while. And that is what scares me, I really need to figure out way before I do. Thnks for the comments and ideas.
