What is your opinion on the Neopets Mall?

Would you buy anything from there?
In case you don't know about the Mall, it is a Neopian place, currently on beta testing, where you can buy clothes or accessories for your pets. The only thing is you have to pay for them in real money, via Paypal (and they are a bit expensive too, up to 1.5 bucks, or even more). The clothing items thus bought are said to be untradeable and unsaleable, and they are going to disappear after a year.
So, what do you think? Is it worth paying real money for virtual clothes for your virtual pets? Would you do it?

Hummm .. this is news to me. If they are untradable and unsellable then I can't see them being worth all that much to others since you can't put a value on them. You are stuck with them once you buy them.
Selling virtual clothes for virtual pets but charging real money .. only at Neopets. Aren't they making enough money from those slow-loading adverts and Premium memberships?
Thanks for posting this ... I'm still sitting here shaking my head about that concept.

No I would never buy anything from the neopets mall. It is not worth real money to pay for something as dumb and worthless as that. I would prefer to spend my money on something physical which I could enjoy.

thats all the neopets mall is? I am a new member there and I can't believe this, they want people to buy virtual stuff with real money. I thought this was a fun game. I understand in the past they sold stuffed animals for people to buy and own but this is ridducules. I hope they still sell the toys though and have the newspaper to read daily. I loved those features. I am still looking for them.
