Why, Why, Why......?

Ok I was just talking to my mother this morning and she just gave me some news that was not good to my ear. Now I don't judge mothers on their parenting but this one has got me shaking my head.My cousin is 32 years old and she has 2 boys and one is in jail. He is only 16 years old and he is really having a hard time in there. Now why is it that my mom was going to start collecting money to send to him so that he could buy him some toiletries and other things he need while he is serving his time. His mom was claimimg that she is having a hard time getting him money and she can go out and have dinners with her ex con boyfriend and who knows what other guy she messes with. I love my cousin but she is doing things backwards, i don't even know if she goes and see him, but she went to go see her current boyfriend devotedly every chance she could. She often takes advantage of what my mother does for her and she worships the men in her life instead of spending time with her boys. They have no male influence except thier uncle but he is always working and taking care of his girls. I don't even know what to do or say about this situation but i hope she comes to her senses or something bad will happen. What do y'all think abou this?
