when will the iphone be released?

i am very curious about the iphone of apple. i like teir products fromte shuffle to the mini to the video and to the macs. I was wondering if any of you guys know when the iphone will be released and approximately how much? do u think i should yrade my ipod video and my ever reliable phone for this iphone? tnx

The official release date for the iPhone is June 29th, 2007. There are some places where lines are building already, and some AT&T stores have promotional marketing up in their stores already. $499 for the 4GB, $599 for the 8GB.
