Whatever stage you're at in your life, whether you're starting or ending school, a job, a relationship... what do you think is a very important lesson you've learned?
Is it that you've realized what you really value in life? What you're capable of? Who your true friends are? What your passions are?

This is a great topic, I hope more people reply.
I've learned that I can't do everything on my own....and that it's ok to ask for help when you need it.
I've learned that even though we sometimes don't get along, your sister can be your best friend.
I've learned how to save.
I've learned to live with needs more than wants (much of the time).
I've learned that change is hard for me.
and I've learned that some nice yarn can make any day seem a little better :-)

Hi.
I have learned that people listen to your plea only if they can draw some benefit out of it. If you have something to do but can't do ourself then it can't be done. In short my biggest learning up to know is that "it is down to me".

The most important lesson that I have learned and that I will ever learn is that this life is not about me. It's about loving Jesus Christ with all of my heart and loving others.

One of the greatest lessons I've learned in life was taught by a great teacher in High School...
"You won't always get paid for what you know, but you will always pay for what you don't know." ~ Oscar Thomas, Tarpon Springs High School DCT.

I learned a lot of things in life especially by using your time and money. Managing my time and using money wisely are important i`ve learn. For friendship i learned that you show all your love and compassion to them and you can reap that afterwards. Be helpful and care one another.

The importance of education. I dropped out in high school bevcause i was 'too smart'. I was not challenging myself and it was too easy. So i quit. I had a few kids and now here I am. I wonder how much of a better life my kids and I could have if the proper education was there.

Ok, that isn't it, but I couldn't resist.
One of the most valuable lessons I have learned is that Self-Acceptance does not mean an end to Self-Improvment or to just getting things done. I've been so driven in my life, that Self-Acceptance was seen as a weakness. I had to realize that accepting how driven I am is part of Self-Acceptance.
