I would consider myself an experienced but not an expert cook. At my house, my fiance and I split the coooking duties and she's not had any complaints so far from when its my turn. I love savory and spicy things, but that is not a requirement.
.. and I have been jonesin for a meatloaf like an attorney desires fees...
So please, share with me your recipies for meatloaf, your favorites, the way your mom or grandma made it, whichever way you can. I'm looking for some really good ideas for some really goood meatloaf.
Mylot community don't fail me now!

My family doesn't have a good meatloaf recipe. I never liked grandmoms.
I use the recipe on a box of Liptons Beefy Onion Soup mix. I just mix in shreaded Cheader cheese, and add a can of tomato soup on top the last 10min of cooking. If you mix another can of tomato soup to the pan after you take out the meat, it's really good on mashed potatoes.

for a healthy concious cooking i love to make ground turkey for meatloaf.
in a bowl i will just mix ground turkey with chopped garlic, onion, cubed sausage and cheese, beaten egg, bread crumbs italian style, dash of salt and pepper, tablespoon of soy sauce and raisins ( optional only ). mix properly everything in the bowl then stand for about 2 hrs to marinate flavors and wrap into a foil as rolls at your desired sizes then steam. cook and cool at wire wrap before slicing and serve with garlic toast or best with jave rice and a side dish of buttered mix vegetables.

This spicy meatloaf is made with ground spicy sausage and lean ground beef, chili style seasonings, shredded cheese, and salsa.
INGREDIENTS:
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 pound bulk pork sausage, spicy
1 pound very lean ground beef
1/4 cup chopped onion
1 cup quick-cooking oats
2 teaspoons garlic salt
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
1 cup shredded Cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese
1 cup chunky salsa
salsa for topping, optional
cheese for topping, optional
PREPARATION:
Preheat oven to 350°. With hands, gently combine all ingredients except topping options in a mixing bowl. Shape into a loaf and place in baking dish or loaf pan; bake for 1 to 1 1/2 hours, until cooked through.

This is the easiest and best meatloaf recipe I ever found!
2 lbs. ground beef
1 6 oz. box of stove top stuffing mix (any flavor)
2 eggs
1/2 c. water
Mix ingredients and put into loaf pan. Top the meatloaf with ketchup then bake for 1 hour, or until internal temp reaches 160 degrees F. Let it set for a few min. then take out of pan, slice, and eat. You'll be surprised if there isn't any left for cold meatloaf sandwiches tomorrow. LOL!

throw in everything but the kitchen sink. Seriously. If you like, it will probably taste good. None of my meatloaves are exactly the same, but here's the basics:
Ground beef, bread crumbs, salt, pepper, chopped onion, chopped pepper (sometimes bell peppers, sometimes jalepeno), 2 eggs, milk (sounds weird, right? I swear it makes a very moist meatloaf! works for meatballs, too), a touch of barbeque sauce, worcesteshire sauce, hot sauce, parsely, garlic powder. and for the topping, ketchup is my favorite, sometimes i'll mix it with barbeque sauce. Like I said, those are the basics. I've added a lot more than that before.
