I am going for MBA after my graduation in commerce. What are your plans after your graduation? Do you plan to start earning or go for higher studies? In my view - we have to study as much as we can at the beginning itself. I mean the flow of education is very smooth and continuous when you are a student. It becomes interrupted when one starts earning. Of course, there might be situations when one has to abandon his studies and start earning to support himself or his family. But generally I feel that we have to study as much as we can before thinking of a job. What do you think?

I have already broken the flow and started work - I then stopped working to take my degree and now I will go back to work. I think I will probably study for a higher qualification in the future but I'll do it part-time and fit it around my job.
I can't afford to carry on studying - I saved up to do my degree and now I need to earn money again - I will be buying a house sometime soon so won't be able to stop working again after that.

Its nice to hear that you are still willing to study. Usually once we start earning, the interest fades off from studies. I am sure you will succeed in your dream house. Thanks for your response.

Are you from Western countries????? I have heard that education(especially after elementary) is quite expensive there. Here, we have it for nominal fees. You people work and then study.....I really appreciate your zeal to get educated for a higher degree...You people are so self-reliant....Hats off to you...

I'm planning to start grad school soon, but once I'm done with that, I'm sure exactly what I'll end up doing. I'm a music performance major, so they plan is to try to get a job with a professional orchestra, but I don't know if I'll be able to make a living off just that, so I'm not sure what else I'm going to do yet. :P

Music industry is a very lovely place to have a career in. But it is highly fluctuating too. Once you are out of vogue no one will ask you. I think, before going into music industry we first must have a regular job no matter at what level. We must be sure of a steady income and choosing music as an only source of income is not viable. Thank you for responding.
