Here's a little fun for you guys out there. I know we all probably come from different cultural backgrounds but I know we all have one thing in common: we were once kids. Escaping from the house in the afternoons, hanging out with the other kids, watching those cartoons we knew and loved...

I am an 80's kid! I still listen to the 80's music, I download alot online and burn to cd's. I love long hair. My 2 yr old son has long blonde hair and I am sure my 9 mth old baby will too once his grows out. I wish you could find all the cartoons we had back then. They were sure much better then what they have on now for kids. My friends and I rode our bikes everywhere...swimming, park, mall. Now a days the kids won't even walk across the street. They want driven everywhere. How I miss the 80's!!

I gotta look for those old songs that I used to grow up with back then, brings so much memories. Wow cool, if I had kids I'd let them wear their hair long, too. Good luck on your kids' hair! ;) By the way, is anyone here fans of the Thundercats and the Silverhawks? We used to watch those here every weekday afternoon after school...

Yeah this fits me. I loved 80's music, television shows and also a lot of the movies from the 80's were great. Even some of the 80's cartoons were great.

I was definitely an 80s kid. I remember the leg warmers, leotards, side ponytails, Punky Brewster and the Facts of Life. I clearly remember the Reagan re-election from when I was in grade school.
