If you had to move to a new city, anywhere in the world, where would it be...?

If you, for some reason, had to pack up and move to any city in the world with your family, without taking monetary issues into account, where would you move and why?

Well, I live in the only American city I would live in: Seattle. I do love this city, but there are two other cities that I would would to in a heart beat if I could. The first one would be Bangkok or perhaps Chiang Rai - I love them both. I spent a couple months in Chiang Rai volunteering at an orphanage. I fell in love with the place and those children! The second would be Amsterdam. It's such a unique city. I don't do pot so that isn't a reason why I would visit, by the way. I love the people, I love the atmosphere and I love Vondel Park.

I used to be. I spent 5 years after graduating high school volunteering in all parts of the world. I would work for about 9 months out of the year and save up then pick a place to volunteer for the remainder of the year. I learned so much and wouldn't trade those experiences for anything. I really miss traveling and meeting people from all over the world but I'm married now with a baby...kinda makes it hard! ;) But I do hope to bring my family with me someday.

I too would choose to live in Amsterdam. I spent only three days there in 2005, but fell in love with that city. Actually, I could live anywhere in the Netherlands, since everything is so close! I'm from Canada where driving from one end of the country to the other would take a week, stopping only to sleep. The other city I would consider would be Sydney, Australia. I spent a couple of weeks there a few years ago and loved it. I could definitely get used to living there! And its cheaper than the Netherlands too!

That is a hard questions because there are so many places I want to visit and see, I think I would just travel the world and see where it takes me and then decide. :) Good question though -Lora

Tintagel, England on the coast of Cornwall. One of the most hauntingly beautiful places I've ever visited.

Hmm, this is a hard one. There are so many cities around the world that are so cool and that I could imagine myself in. One would be NYC. Others would be Glasgow or Amsterdam. I like NYC because it has everything. I think it would take a lifetime to take in and discover that whole city because its ever changing. Amsterdam would be awesome because of the history, the culture and the people. Its such a pretty city and I like the way of life there. As for Glasgow, I spent a year and a half there, and I loved it. I would love to live there again.
