Well, some have nicknames & other kind of titles.
Nino is also known as Spud, I sometimes call him Spudnick.
Scamp is Scardy Scamp, Sir Scamp-a-lot, Sca-a-a-mp (he's got a kind of a-a-a to his voice,) Scamplet, Kinky boy.
Sassy is called Sassy Lassy and Sassy Molassy
Timus (said Ti'mus not Tim-us) we call Ti'mie and White Kitty (guess what color he is?)
But Oliver is called The Eating Machine & the Nose Cozy.
Rygel is The Cat That'll Eat Us in Our Sleep and That White Eared Cat.
Then theres some that don't have nicknames like Chalube - don't as why - maybe we just don't have the energy to think up nicknames for all of them.

Ha ha. I guess when You have a lot of cats it gets complicated to name them all. Since I have one, that's probably why he has so many nicknames. I like "The cat that will eat us in our sleep" that ones good.
Sometimes I call Reggie cat a "big gray ball of fur"..cause that really is what he is sometimes.

LOL! I love that name. Reggie Cat...it sounds so regal. I used to call my cat Baby Fat Back because she always walked around like she owned the place with her chubby lil' cat butt. I called her Baby Diva too. She had a ton of names too...it's no wonder she never came to me when I called her. I used to do this really high-pitched squeal too when I called her name and I figured out pretty quick that when I did that she would come and bite my leg.:)

aww Get one! Kitties rule! I wish I had more than one, but I'm actually not even supposed to have the one I have. My landlord is allergic and he wasn't too keen on the idea, but I told him I wouldn't move in if I couldn't have my cat. Luckily he needed me to move in so it worked out.

Reggie cat actually fits him because he is pretty regal. However he got his name because my brother and his wife had him first and thought he was a girl so they'd named him Gina. The day I took him from them (they didn't want him anymore after 3 weeks) and I noticed he had something girl cats normally don't so I told my brother..."Uhh this ain't no Gina, he's more like a Reggie Cat" and it sort of stuck.
Baby Fat Back is great! It actually almost reminds me of a food substance ha ha. Cats really are all divas. They own the world.

I made up Latin phrases for my cat to practice my Latin when I took a mandatory language course.
"River" or - "Riverbrat, Rivercat" became "Bon Puer Riverus" (Good Boy River), "Bon Puer, Bon Bellus Riverus" (Good Boy, Pretty Boy, River), "Et tu est, malus, Riverus? ("And you are bad, too, River?" - for when he was performing like a brat). And, of course, this is really BAD, horrendous abuse of Latin, but my cat didn't care. And I didn't get quizzed on it, either, thank goodness.
My instructor later tried correcting words for me but there aren't really words for 'River' or 'Cat' that are a quick and accurate cross-over, so my cat became,
Aqua Felis (Water cat?) and
Bellus Puer Felis (Pretty boy cat)
Aqua Bellus Bon Riverus
Luckily, my cat really didn't care what I called him - so long as I kept practicing language studies and talking to him.
Now that Latin class is finished, I just call him "Petey Boy" a lot - to get his attention, because I loved the 'Petey' dog from the old show, "Little Rascals." I think when I was practicing between Latin and English with the word "Pretty," it was easy to slip 'Petey' in there and it has stuck well enough that my cat responds to 'Pete, Petey, Pete's and Petey Boy' just as well as to his real name.
If I had never taken Latin and learned to translate very poorly, my cat would have always just been called, 'River.' Now he has the option of being confused.
:)

Ha ha. That's cool though. Petey's a good cat name.
The only language I know is a little spanish. So he could be "el gato bonita" the pretty cat. or.. "El gato en el sombrero" the cat in the hat :)
but I stick with my english, but that's a great way to learn/practice another language!

I have two cats, Tigger and Mia. We don't have any nicknames for Tigger, but I have some for Mia, my favorite being Mama Mia. I also call her Pretty Girl a lot. When she's getting on my nerves or when she's in a cranky mood I call her the b-word:)

aww/ I never understand how parents can let their kids grow up with a pet. I think a pet is a crucial part of life, it's the first thing you really get to experience of taking care of something...someone. I think it's a good thing.
Simba would be a cute name for a cat. I love the lion king!

My cat's name is Kitty. I usually call her Kitten, Badness, Bad Girl and Baby. It kind of sounds like I'm verbally abusing her but they are all terms of endearment. She is naughty and thats where badness and bad girl came from.

(Every once in a while, just Loke.) And Grace is Gracie, Crazy Gracie, or Gracious. And Georgia the dog is George, Georgie, Georgie-Porgy-puddin-pie, or slobberslinger. :)
