Ok we know its the last week of school out here and some children will fight. Well I have a daughter in the 6th grade and these boys have been picking on her for the last 3 months and the teacher who is 65 years old maybe older acts as if she hears or sees nothing. I have been going back and forth with the Principal about these boys and my daughter. Today one of the boys slapped her because of he say she say and she punched him in the head he slapped her again she punched him again and then he jumps on her and they are on the floor fighting. The teacher claimed she knew nothing of what was going on and sent them to the office. The boy had a knot on the side of his head where my daughter punched him and the Principal had the nerves to say she was upset. I told her my daughter should have tried to take his whole head off because no boy should be hitting on a girl period. I have tried to have a meeting with the other parent no show, the children are having a field trip and I told my daugther she can't go because if they can't be watched at school then who will watch them on the field trip? They are going to splash something or other a water place, and if something was to happen they wouldn't be able to tell me nothing. Mind you we went on a field trip today the same class and they will be going on one wednesday,my reason for not going is I am booked for my younger sons class lol on that day and on tuesday I'm going with my other daughter a moms work is never done lol. Tell me am I wrong? Let me know God bless.

I think you have every right to be upset with the school for not doing anything about this situation. School should be a place where you should feel safe but it unfortunately is not always the case. I know how your daughter is feeling as I went through the exact same thing when I was younger. This boy would not leave me alone and then he hit me. So I hit back that is when the teacher finally decided to intervene, when I defended myself. Well, I got suspended, my mom said I needed a vacation from school anyway. So, I know that your daughter is going to miss out on this trip but her well being should come first. You are right to keep her out of going. I hope that thing will get better for your daughter.

No I don't blame you for keeping your daughter from going on the feild trip. Because anything could happen and nothing would come back to you. You can't be everywhere all at once.. And you are right a boy should not be hitting a girl in the first place.
