How do you feel about your future? What will you be doing in 5 years? 10? Can it be realistically done? Are you happy with where you are now financially? What are your plans?

I am not at all comfortable with where I am or with the thought of what my future might hold. I've been out of work for a while due to a disabilty and I am in no way, shape, or form any kind of comfortable financially. I did recently graduate from college though, so that I am hoping that as I try to get on my feet these next few months that some doors might open up for me. But who knows, it's a hard world out there these days.

I graduated from college 8 years ago and I'm beginning to think it may have been a waste. 8 years of retail management devoted to 2 bankrupt companies. Now I'm approaching 30 and starting over. If I could go back in time to my 21 year old self and show him what I've become, I'd of grabbed me by the shirt up against a wall and screamed NO as loud as I could. Don't end up like that. Take the risks you are debating and live. That's what I am going to do. At 29, I'm still young enough to chase my dreams, but I don't want to waste anymore time.

Five years from now I hope to have my wedding paid off, as well as the PMI gone on my house mortgage. Might even have a kid or two running around. Beyond that, Im not 100% happy where I am financially, and that is because of the racket that is the wedding industry in the US. Im a gonna be paying out a lot for that one day.

It's horrible. Me and my fiance were supposed to be married June 18. I have been not so well off financially and I don't want to have a cheap wedding with a honeymoon where we are afraid to spend any money. I want a good wedding, but when I can afford it and I'm working towards it.
