I Don't Want To Get Paid To Do Nothing

I find this a big problem when looking for some online cash. I would like to make my bills each month from online cash, but I don't want to be slack.
I do not want to make money by referring people
I do not want to do almost nothing. Lots of click for money, read email for money, sign up for money, fill out surveys for money, post for money etc., etc., etc.
I would love it if there was a legitimate website that paid me to transcribe, fill out data forms, whatever. A site that did not care about referrals, and paid me for some honest work.
I take it that no one knows of anything like that, or they would be doing it themselves.
