My daughter-in-law needed microsoft office for use in her online college class but stupid me uninstalled it from my computer. So she went to limewire and downloaded it from there. Now we can't figure out how to install it. Does anyone know how to do it? Its an ISO file if that helps.

I asked my husband about your problem, as he uses limewire a lot.
He read the reply beneath & said it is correct.
Good Luck.

ISO is the CD image format. If you have Nero, there should be a function somewhere that says "Burn Image to Disc." In mine, it's under the "Copy and Backup" tab (with a safe and two discs). This ISO file is most likely the installer, so you can run it from the disc on anyone's machine.
BTW, an archiving program could offer you a shortcut. I use WinRAR, which allows you to open the ISO image itself and run the installer from right there. Let me know if you need any help!

Did you get it working? You never know what your going to get from downloading from the internet. A friend of ours used to download from Limewire and got many viruses as a result.

No, I couldn't figure it out. My DIL ended up getting a trial version of what she needed. Its good for two months, so hopefully by then I can figure this thing out.

Instead of downloading from limewire, which is illegal and you have a chance of introducing many viruses on your computer why don't you go to openoffice.org. You can get a 100% compatible, looks like Office for your computer that is free and legal.

Thanks to both of you. I will tell my daughter-in-law about it and see if she can use them instead of microsoft office.

I recommend you to Open-source softwares other than microsoft office. Small bytes yet easy-to-use and productive as office does.
You can search 9down.com for that.
