I try and always be honest. My memory isn't good enough to remember a bunch of b.s., so it only helps me! No, but really, I think people ought to be honest about things, if they have to lie about it, then it's probably not something they should have been a part of. Plus, if someone can't show you the common decency to be honest with you, then they don't deserve to be a part of your life either, that's no respect.

You seems like a burnt-hearted person just like me i also hate the system hypocrisy and cruelty exist in this world because of evil people but other side of the picture is quite better ......
means there are few good people exist in this world people who have true faith in GOD...
people who wants to do something for there hereafter which will be eternal instead of this short term life .......
people who know human values ........
people who can feel the pain of others rather there own ........
so the question remains how can we participate ourselves in good work we can help them by words by appreciation by accepting the good people no matter what race they belongs to
what color of there skin is
what language they speak
but we should be concerned with humanity and human walfare morally, socially and spiritually ..................

Yes, there is. Honesty comes from people who have a high level of personal integrity and honor. Lying seems to get people a long way, until it comes back around to them. And it always does.
I could probably get much further in life by lying. I could fudge about my education, etc. etc. But I wouldn't feel good about myself and I'd be compromising my personal integrity. I can't do that.
There is room for honesty. If no one else appreciates me being honest, I know I've maintained my integrity.
