Your post here made me remember something I read about a linux gaming distro. http://distrowatch.com/4282 is an article about it. The distro include some linux games that appear to be not just the usual solitare and minesweep type of games. Just figured if you hadn't heard of this distrobution of Linux, that you may be interested.
I't not a bit gamer on the PC, only play a couple of games at all, NeverWinter Nights, and Diablo, though I do know there is a linux version of MWN that you can use.
mostly an FYI post.

It is a torrent download, but there is a main site and a mirror to download it direct. It's also a 0.9 distro so may be beta. I forget what it is based on but it's a current system and the games look good on the page, I didn't go to web pages for the games.
I am downloading the distro by torrent and it's running pretty good speed. I'll let you know when I have it down how it works.
