With all the politics and hype surrounding the BCCI and teh cricket players, I think they deserve once in a while blows like this to get them back to real. These so called demi gods are screwing up things. At least now, instead of selecting someone they can beg someone to come and take the coaching position

no its not like that..its not that no one wants to coach team India...ford dint come bcoz he was offered less money compared to chappel and we can understand why embury dint choose as he was already dumped...im not saying bcci is without politics and effcient..they are not...but ppl are ready to coach despite everything bcoz its very high paying job..

I feel there can be number of reasons for Ford turning down coach's job of team India. One could be he was not offered much money and his tenure was fixed for one year which he might have not liked. Then he had professional commitments with kent and also he family commitments he's wife is ill. Moreover he appeared to be player's choice. The board should take note of players concern but appoint coach who is best of India.

politics is the ruler of india! not only in sports but everywhere. its a pity to hear that most coaches enter with a bang but they eventually feel like quitting and dont renew their contracts. god save this politics struck nation.
