Last week, I went to pick the kids up from school. At the corner of the school, the light turns green, the crossing guard steps off the curb and a woman, on a cell phone, runs the red light and almost hits the guard, a second sooner and she would have. There are flashing lights in school zones, they say 15mph, they are there for the safty of the kids. People don't obay them eather.
To many people think because they're driving, that they need to get wherever their going faster, even if it means running someone over.
Give us a break, put the phone down, put the makeup away, you look fine, and stop reading the paper, and one way means one direction, men do it too. Yesterday, someone got mad at me for crossing the street while he was turning!
Yes I've seen it all, and I started carring around a notebook and pen, I got some tag numbers and I'm goina report them.
Sorry to ramble on, but I'm so tired of idiot drivers. So many people drive saftly, but it's those who think they own the road that make it dangerous.

Don't apologise for your ramble as you are totally right and I see it all the time here in Australia as well. We are in kilometres here but yeah, the 40 klm zones where schools are are heavily signed and even lines on the road to slow you down and yet people still go through there at 60-70 klms per hour, it's a crime! Oh and don't get me started on people who drive while talking on the phone grrrrrrrrrrrrrr! Give it to them suzieb, I'm right behind you.
