The only indication for me to turn the "Weight Control Mode" on is the puffiness of my tummy. Whenever my belly grows big and gets puffy, I know it's time to take some action. I used to rely solely on strict and extreme diet control, skipping dinners, cutting anything sweet, having only plain oak meal and whole-wheat biscuits, etc. But recently, I find out that practicing yoga is also a great way to lose weight and maintain a healthy body. How about you? Any secret in keeping fit or any staying fit & healthy recipe to share?

Me too! I know I have to lose a few pounds when my pants feel a little tight. Sometimes I just wonder why we can't just enjoy all the good food we want in life and still have a great body shape. It's too much pressure during the daily life and if we have to focus on losing weight, that would definitely be a torture. I don't do anything extreme but I do have a routine on losing a few pounds. I would change 1 meal to oatmeal or cereals in the days, and then move my dinner time to around 5pm to 6pm, so when I go to sleep, food would be digested completely. It usually works for me. And also, yoga is nice too, but I am too lazy to practice when I am alone. I have to be forced to exercise *laughs*.

It really takes a strong drive and determination to keep a regular exercising schedule, so I just keep dieting! LOL!
Yes, I realise I am not that weight/physique-cautious since I started working, maybe we had less to deal with when we were just students and we're now so tired at coping with different tasks in life so we don't care about if we should lose some weight as much as we did.

Right and when I was a student, I was on the go all the time walking around the campus, singing karaoke, running around for classes and shopping, how could we gain weight when we had so many interesting activities in progress. I think we are generally depressed and eat more when we are stuck at work instead of enjoying the life outside. How sad. Oh, and actually I would lose weight without even trying when I am on holidays. Weird ha?

I have a large tummy that I cannot get rid of. What I do is pinch myself between my waist and the top of my thighs at either side of my body. If it is still there, I need to lose more weight. I do a lot of walking and weight lifting. You should not skip dinners but I heard that having six small meals helps. I try to avoid anything with white flour, and drink lots of water, avoid pop and have lots of green tea.
