What pays more here posting discussions or responding to discussions? I am really curious to find this answer...Do you know?

I think it all pays the same, one point per discussion, regardless if you start it or reply to it.

well in my opinion what i know is that you get paid $.01 when you upload 1 photo and you earn maximum $.10 that is 10 cent per reply but i don't know how much do you earn for starting discussion so i think that it might be that you earn the most when you start discussion but only when you get the maximum reply to your discussion.
I hope you found what i mean best of luck for earning maximum dear

I seriously dont know. But I think responding can earn you decent money and if you are putting a quality discussion and gets about 20 responses for that, can earn you bit more. But not a discussion which can give you many responses.

From pervious experience, I believe you earn more for responding to others discussions than you do starting your own. I have also seen posts where people have stated that the only way you earn by starting a new discussion is if you have people respond to them.
In the very beginning when I was new, I spent most of my time starting new discussions and only responding to a few discussions started by others. My earning weren't that great and very slow going. But since reading others discussions stating that you earn more for responding to others, I started responding to others more than starting my own discussions. Now my earnings are much better.
Hope this helps and best of luck to you!!!

I think you start a discussion and receive lot of responses will make you earn more, the precondition is that you topic can attract quite a number of people to response it.it is easier than posting responses.
