Can it be beaten on veteran?

I think it is ridiculously insane to even try to accomplish this tedious task, I beat call of duty 2 on veteran twice and didn't have nearly as much of a problem. I don't know anyone who has beat it on veteran, do you or have you? I tried for months to do this and I did get pretty far into the game but finally gave up because I was spending all my time trying to do this while neglecting all of the other games I have. Is it worth it?
